Features of the Venue

White Oaks Barn will be a rustic, timber-frame structure designed to seat up to 400 guests.  Inside, it will have a caterers kitchen, full bar, bride and groom dressing rooms, floor and loft seating and center stage.  There will be large men's and women's restrooms to avoid lines, as well as a private restroom in the bridal suite.  The barn's vaulted ceiling, loft areas and rustic to elegant decor will create a unique venue perfect for making special memories.  With an open floor plan, the barn will allow for flexible seating arrangements that can accommodate a variety of occasions.  Zoned heating and cooling will allow the venue to be comfortably utilized year round while eliminating hot and cold spots.  Outside, the venue will offer several photo opportunities with country themed props and beautiful scenery.  There will be a decorative overhang on the front of the barn so you and your guests can remain dry during arrival in inclement weather.   

In addition to the features offered by White Oaks Barn, the Kirksville area also offers several amenities sure to enhance your event.  Lodging, including a Days Inn, Super 8 and Holiday Inn Express, is conveniently located within two miles.  Kirksville also offers several chain and locally owned restaurants and catering services such as Colton’s Steak House and Grill, Ruby Tuesdays, Maxwell’s Supper Club and the Wooden Nickel.  The downtown area, approximately 4 miles away, has several restaurants, shops, bars and dance clubs.  Jacob’s Vineyard and Winery is only two and a half miles away and the Kirksville Regional Airport is a four mile drive.  These amenities can easily be reached by utilizing one of the local limousine or shuttle services.
